The vegetable market has been in Shrirampur Market Committee since 1960. At that time, the Market Committee had built 25 paper merchant stalls for traders to do business. However, now due to the increase in trade and the arrival of vegetables in large quantities, a new grand merchant complex of 26 stalls was built for trade with the efforts of the existing board of directors.

Vegetable traders, traders and potato traders were doing business together in Shrirampur Market Committee. Due to the increase in the scope of trade, the space was becoming inadequate. Therefore, the existing board of directors has taken a decision and built a new potato market. A total of 22 shops were built here.
Petrol Pump
Shrirampur Market Committee has got dealership of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. The Market Committee has given 30 gunthas of land to HPCL Company for the petrol pump under contract and the rent of the said land is Rs. 80,000/- per month. The Market Committee is getting Rs. 80,000/- per month. Also, having got an agency to run the petrol pump, the Market Committee is running the petrol pump itself for selling petrol and diesel. To run the petrol pump, the Market Committee has purchased a generator, new DP booster, fire extinguishing system, air compressor, automatic air checking machine, safe etc.
Grain sifting machine
If the government starts a guaranteed price center for the sale of agricultural produce of farmers, some agricultural produce has to be cleaned and brought. At that time, cleaning has to be done with the help of private sifting machines. For this, farmers have to pay more money. Recognizing this problem, the existing board of directors has purchased grain sifting machines at the market committee's own Shrirampur main market and Belapur sub-market premises.
Farmers' restaurant
Farmers come from the taluka to sell their agricultural produce at the market committee. The existing board of directors has decided that food should be provided to them at a low price in the market committee premises. The board of directors has decided to provide 2 poliyas, one vegetable, pickle and other items to the farmers at a low price of Rs 10 and this farmers' restaurant has started.
Market Arch
A new market gate arch made of ACP sheet has been constructed at the main gate of the Market Committee office. This has added to the splendor of the Market Committee.
D.P. Construction
There is a D.P. of Mahavitaran Company in the premises of the Market Committee and due to the increase in electricity consumption on this D.P., there was a voltage problem. In order to ensure smooth power supply for the new petrol pump and grain sifting machine, the Market Committee decided to construct a new 100 k.v D.P. Accordingly, the Market Committee has constructed a new D.P. by spending Rs 3.50 lakhs.
Farmers' meeting arrangement
The market committee has constructed a grand shed so that farmers can sit comfortably in the shade after coming to the market committee to sell their farm produce and installed a water cooler there for drinking clean and cold water.
District Bank Branch
Shrirampur Market Committee has provided a building for running a district bank branch in the premises of Shrirampur Market Committee for the convenience of farmers. Earlier, since the district bank branch was in the main city, farmers, traders, and shopkeepers had to go to the city for daily bank transactions. But the board of directors has taken a decision and with the cooperation of late MLA Jayantrao Sasane Saheb, the district bank branch has been opened in the Shrirampur Market Yard area.
Water cooler
After the farmers bring their agricultural produce to the market committee for sale, the farmers have to wait in the market premises until the goods are auctioned and sold. In the market premises, the Shrirampur Market Committee has installed water coolers for cold water in each of its sections to ensure that the farmers get clean and cold water to drink.
Underground drainage
The premises of the Shrirampur Market Committee are large. And there are different sections like Bhusar Market, Onion Market, Vegetable Market, Livestock Market, Farmers' Accommodation.
